Job Summary
Digital Communications Specialist II to lead maintenance and operations of DVHA websites and digital content, managing fast-paced and long-term projects, collaborating across organizational levels, and acting as the website and digital content subject matter expert. Requires independence in guidance and implementation, reporting to the DVHA Director of Customer Communication. Experience with website administration (Drupal 10), website strategy/design, working with interdisciplinary teams, project management tools, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with plain language. Duties occur primarily in office settings with potential travel and occasional after-hours work; telework is allowed per state guidelines, with some in-person or fieldwork as needed to support communications goals. Knowledge of DVHA and Vermont health communications context is implied by the role and location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, computer science, web or graphic design, political science, education, or related field AND three (3) or more years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field
- Five (5) years or more of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field
- One (1) year experience as Digital Communications Specialist I with the Agency of Education
