Job Summary

Drive the strategy and process for listening and reacting to consumer conversations relating to life at home and the IKEA brand within the digital communication environment; lead social media within the campaign planning process; plan, optimize and develop online content including posts, videos, live streams, and engagement activity; strategically plan and manage creative communications across social platforms aligned with IKEA values and commercial priorities; manage agency partners to optimize digital media platforms; identify opportunities and create synergy in IKEA NA market to enhance social media campaign effectiveness; support crisis management from a social media perspective in coordination with other teams; partner with Marketing to use digital media to promote home furnishing competence to a wide consumer market; secure stakeholder engagement to influence content and dialogue; lead competence development of digital media within the organization through updates to the business.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of working experience in social media and digital communications, preferably in an advertising or digital communication agency
