Job Summary
Digital CCA Design Engineer responsibilities include electrical design, simulation, verification and validation testing of high-speed PCB design and electronic systems, leading product development cycles, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role requires expertise with EDA tools (Mentor Graphics, Altium, PSPICE), experience designing, testing, and integrating a digital circuit card assembly (CCA), and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and U.S. citizenship are required; relocation is offered based on eligibility. The position emphasizes leadership in electrical design, system integration, and adherence to industry best practices for high-speed design (100G Ethernet, PCIe, DDR).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related) or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 3+ years experience for Level 3; 5+ for Level 4; 10+ for Level 5
- Experience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as Mentor Graphics, Altium, PSPICE
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating a digital circuit card assembly (CCA)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with high-speed digital circuit design and signal integrity simulations (100G Ethernet, DDR2/3/4, PCIe)
- Knowledge of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB), circuit card assemblies, DFMA/DFM
- Educational/experience alignment with ABET accreditation preferred
