Job Summary
Plan and deliver engaging digital art classes covering Media, Film, Photography, or Graphic Design for students ages 8–17. Create lesson plans for one-week sessions and guide learners through portfolio creation culminating in a final digital presentation. Demonstrate techniques, explain software tools, and teach concepts like layering, composition, and file management while maintaining a focused learning environment. Manage student engagement with technology, take daily attendance, and ensure safety regarding internet use and ergonomics. Communicate with the Camp Director regarding equipment, software, or material needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, or related field
- Professional experience as a digital artist and/or teacher in any of the digital arts disciplines
- Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
