Job Summary
Full-time Digital Archivist needed to create and manage a digital archival repository at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Candidates must have an MLS or MLIS degree and 2-4 years of digital preservation experience. Strong skills in digital asset management, archival practices, and metadata standards are required.
Required Qualifications
- MLS or MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited library school or equivalent accredited degree
- 2-4 years of experience in managing cultural heritage digitization and digital asset preservation
- Knowledge of archival preservation principles and practices
- Familiarity with digital asset preservation solutions
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with structured data and metadata formats
