Job Summary
Define and drive end-to-end digital architecture for the G&B Digital Ecosystem, covering grooming and beauty product lines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize solutions for personal care and health applications, discussing tradeoffs with stakeholders and external suppliers. Evaluate technical uncertainties by devising strategies to enhance efficiency and resilience while leading technology evaluations for BLE, IoT device integration, and personalized user experiences. Drive architectural decisions involving cloud platforms, microservices, and API-management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and data privacy best practices. Mentor engineering teams on architectural principles and facilitate communication among distributed teams in Amsterdam, Drachten, and Bangalore to align on strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in software architecture, especially with app ecosystems or digital platforms, with hands on experience in Coding
- Strong expertise in Cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API-design
- Experience designing mobile and web application architectures tailored for consumer health and personal care domains
- Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric digital solutions across product lines
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills within agile, cross-functional teams
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
- Working experience in global, distributed teams
- Full-time presence in the company's facilities

- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into grooming and beauty apps
- Knowledge of IoT ecosystems and smart device connectivity in personal care products
