Job Summary
Differential Rebuilder responsible for complete and precise assembly of differential components in accordance with quality standards and production timelines. Requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and knowledge of a wide range of differential models, including specifications and performance requirements. Essential duties include disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and rebuilding differentials; accurately identifying parts for various models; safe use of hand and power tools; ensuring rebuilt differentials meet quality standards; maintaining records of work and parts; collaborating with peers to resolve issues and improve processes; assisting in training new team members; following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Previous mechanical experience or training, preferably in automotive or heavy-duty equipment repair or assembly
- Ability to use hand tools as required for assembly
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Strong understanding of differential systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
