Job Summary
Provide nutritional care for patients through screening, education, and implementation of individualized care plans based on physician prescriptions. Participate with health teams to integrate nutritional assessment and interventions into the total treatment program. Develop and monitor nutrition care plans while performing duties in clinical nutrition management and research studies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field, Commission on Dietetic Registration credential, and minimum one year of recent clinical nutrition experience. M-F normal hours with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food, Nutrition, Food Service Management, Institution Management or related science
- All applicants must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing branch of the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience
- Previous clinical nutrition practice experience
- Moderate physical activity
- Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds
- Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
- Required to respond to any medical emergency within the clinic, where a fast walk or job may be necessary to provide assistance
