Job Summary
Per diem remote Dietitian position handling virtual lifestyle counseling visits for clinical trial subjects. Responsibilities include completing virtual visits for trial participants, coordinating with Clinical Project Manager and site personnel, staying updated on nutrition and health updates, and delivering RD services (nutrition-focused counseling, behavior and lifestyle coaching) through virtual visits. Requires RD/RDN certification, state licensure in good standing, and a dietetics degree (bachelor's minimum with potential graduate requirement depending on CDR exam timing). Standard rate is $46/hour plus travel/administrative pay; role is remote with a Des Moines, IA location cue for the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited dietetics program
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current State Dietitian License/Certification in good standing (if applicable)
- Graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program (If CDR examination was on or after January 1, 2024)
- Gain Certification through GCP training
- Performs the full scope of Registered Dietitian practices; including virtual lifestyle counseling visits to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health and developing coping skills, and building health behavior and lifestyle habits that align with participant's goals and values
- Completes virtual visits for clinical trial subjects
