Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Maritime Medical Genetics Service, the dietitian will participate in administrative, educational and quality improvement projects within the Metabolic Genetics team. The dietitian will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop resources, templates and other tools to support the delivery of clinical care to patients affected by metabolic conditions and their families. The role also supports workload associated with implementation of new therapies and advocacy for medical formula and foods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with major credits in nutrition or dietetics
- Graduate of a Dietitians of Canada accredited Dietetic Internship Program
- Licensed member of the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association (or eligible for licensure)
- Eligible for membership to Dietitians of Canada
