Job Summary
Oversee meals prepared for clients on campus and ensure proper documentation while insuring all nutritional services meet established standards and regulations. Conduct nutrition assessments of clients and monitor nutrition intake, then participate in the treatment team's development of the Master Treatment Plan. This Registered Dietitian supports adolescents with eating disorders through HAES-informed care, focusing on food relationship repair and self-trust rather than weight loss. The role requires a Registered Dietitian credential with a Master's degree preferred, along with experience in a psychiatric setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree, at minimum, in Nutrition or related human services field
- At least one year working (or internship) in healthcare; psychiatric setting preferred
- Hold appropriate Registered Dietitian credential
- Must have (or obtain) CPR/BLS before starting work
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
