Job Summary
Oversee meals prepared for clients on campus and ensure all nutritional services meet established standards and regulations. Conduct nutrition assessments of clients and monitor their intake while collaborating with the treatment team to develop the Master Treatment Plan. Maintain proper documentation for all services provided. This Registered Dietitian role supports Monte Nido's HAES-informed approach, focusing on behavior rather than weight to help clients repair food relationships and move toward self-trust. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nutrition, an RD credential, and CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nutrition or a related human services field
- At least one year of work (or internship) in healthcare; a psychiatric setting preferred
- Hold an appropriate Registered Dietitian credential
- Must have (or obtain) CPR/BLS before starting work
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
