Job Summary
Analyze lab-work results and educate patients and their families on dietary needs to support kidney health in an intimate outpatient setting. Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families while influencing care plans to improve their quality of life. This role supports Atmore and Brewton clinics as a vital member of the core care team, focusing on patient-centered health care and personal patient connections.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
- 1 year of clinical dietitian experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
- After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days
