Job Summary
Dietitian with DaVita in outpatient dialysis: analyze lab results and educate patients and families on appropriate dietary choices; build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families in an intimate outpatient setting as part of a collaborative care team; contribute to performance-based rewards and CMS standards through clinical goals and quality improvement initiatives; must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and be eligible for state licensure where the facility is located; CARD must be completed with 80% or higher after training; must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and DaVita applications; may span multiple facilities with flexible scheduling; travel may be required; DaVita is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located
- Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% after training
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as DaVita-specific applications within 60 days
- Prior experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in a dialysis setting is preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules and travel between facilities as needed
