Job Summary
Analyze lab-work results and educate patients and their families on dietary adjustments to support kidney health. Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families in an intimate outpatient setting. Influence and lead core care teams to help patients live better lives. Work flexible schedules, possibly across multiple facilities with travel, and complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% after training. Requires state licensure, a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, and proficiency with MS Office and DaVita applications.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
- After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
