Job Summary
Registered Dietitian at DaVita in an outpatient setting responsible for analyzing lab-work results and educating patients and families on appropriate dietary choices. Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families, lead and influence care as part of an integrated patient-centered team, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requires state licensure where applicable, a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, ability to travel to multiple facilities if needed, and successful completion of the RENAL CARD with at least 80% after training. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and comfortable using DaVita applications. Required Qualifications
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
- Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required after training
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days
