Dietetic Technician

Dietetic Technician Level I responsible for daily routines to ensure patients receive meals in a timely fashion that meet physician orders and patient preferences; assists in planning and implementing nutritional programs and services in the hospital; duties include taking food orders at bedside, updating electronic meal selections, ensuring correct tray identification, dietary compliance (allergies, diet orders), serving trays, coordinating with staff to maintain patient satisfaction, stocking supplies, maintaining clean work areas, and demonstrating professional conduct with patients, families, and colleagues. Position is essential personnel and requires ability to work rotating weekends/holidays and inclement weather; prior experience in food service or patient care settings preferred.
