Job Summary
Dietetic Assistant position responsible for a variety of fundamental food service duties including patient tray line, dish room, utilities, cafeteria server, and cold food production. The role works as part of a team to deliver high quality food and service to patients and customers; emphasizes sanitation, portioning, menu cycles, food safety, and customer service. Key duties include preparing work areas, sanitizing and restocking, assembling and portioning foods, following standardized recipes, addressing customer needs and complaints, and maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines. Schedule is part-time night shifts (20 hours weekly).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Service Worker Permit (FSWP) from Monongalia County Health Department (MCHD) prior to starting OR obtain a MCHD Temporary FSWP no later than the first Wednesday of employment and a permanent MCHD FSWP within 1 month of start date (next available class). Must have a valid MCHD FSWP throughout employment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
