Job Summary
Dietetic Assistant responsible for working with nutritionists and healthcare professionals to provide dietary support and nutritional care. Coordinates patient meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists; takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside; assists with meal selections considering cultural and/or religious preferences; monitors patient meal tickets and modifies as needed to comply with prescribed diet orders; processes new diets, changes, tube feedings, and NPO orders with accurate records; performs related duties as assigned.
