Job Summary
Serve hot and cold food to staff, guests, and patients on serving lines, including bedside meals per dietary orders. Maintain clean, neat cafeteria areas by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, mopping, and utilizing proper dishwashing processes. Prepare meals according to specified recipes, testing for flavor, doneness, and temperature before service. Replenish stations using first-in-first-out inventory methods and track needs per shift. Unload freight, store items in designated areas, and dispose of trash and grease via campus compactors. Follow HAACP guidelines, record temperatures, and operate equipment safely while consulting dietitians for modified diets.
