Job Summary
Dietary Technician at Allina Health ensuring patients receive meals aligned with dietary needs and preferences; guide patients in food choices, monitor for allergies, and maintain compliance with dietary orders; assist in meal preparation and service, process patient diet orders, ensure accurate tray services, and support department operations; may supervise nutrition services aides, store and temperature-log food equipment, and collaborate with nursing and dietitians to resolve tray/food issues; may prepare infant formulas and assemble enteral/tube feedings as required; 0.5 FTE with 8-hour day/evening shifts and alternating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in food service, health care or related industry
- Working towards a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related health major at an accredited college or university
- Associate's or Vocational degree in Dietetics from a program accredited by Commission of Dietetics Education (CADE)
- Dietetic Technician - Registered (DTR) credential - Commission of Dietetic Registration
