Job Summary
Oversee food service staff during meal preparation, assist with menu planning, and coordinate special event activities. Monitor accurate meal documentation, supervise storage and care of food supplies, and ensure kitchen and dining areas are cleaned. Solicit client feedback to improve meal quality and satisfaction. Assist with equipment cleaning and participate in resident care conferences as assigned. Maintain knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations. Required Qualifications
- high school or equivalent education
- One (1) year food service experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling and kitchen regulations (Serve Safe Certification)
- Must possess knowledge of food service operations
