Job Summary
Dietary Staff responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals for residents in accordance with menu and dietary requirements. Tasks include ensuring proper portion control and food safety, delivering and retrieving food trays, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and storage areas. Also assist with dishwashing and sanitizing equipment, follow local health department guidelines, and communicate professionally with residents and staff. Flexible schedule with mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; full-time employment with benefits. Adheres to organization values, maintains confidentiality, and follows safety and infection-control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus
- Must pass background check
- Health screening requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Follow HIPAA guidelines
- Interact with residents and staff in a professional and friendly manner
