Job Summary
Lead the dining department at a long-term care facility as a Dietary Manager, ensuring food safety, quality standards, and compliance with regulations. Support a team to enhance dining experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality
- Two years of experience in quantity food production/service
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
- Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within the first 14 days
- Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) certification within the first 60 days
- Must obtain Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certification within the first 60 days
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in quantity food production/service
- Personnel supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Residency within the service area required
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
