Job Summary
Operate the food-service department in a skilled nursing facility, leading staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and program design; ensure food quality, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards; develop menus, respond to client preferences and therapeutic diets, oversee diet orders and MDS-related tasks; collaborate with RDs and the IDT, supervise staff, and uphold HACCP guidelines to maintain safe, nutritious meals aligned with care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Dietary Manager’s Course, 2-year or 4-year food-service program
- Successful completion of Certified Dietary Manager exam
- Two years’ experience in food-service management
- Prior experience in healthcare, food service preferred
