Job Summary
As a Certified Dietary Manager, you oversee all operations of the Dietary Department in a nursing home, plan menus and food service programs, monitor stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, order as needed, ensure compliance with dietary procedures and regulations, monitor residents' dietary needs and communicate changes, and supervise staff to maintain high-quality resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Current CDM or CFM certification (required within 8 months of hiring)
- One year of experience in long term care
- One year of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home kitchen and dining operations
