Job Summary
Oversee daily dietary operations, meal service, and kitchen workflow while ensuring safe food handling, sanitation, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate menus and diet orders with nursing and clinical teams, then train, coach, and supervise dietary staff to maintain inventory, ordering, and accurate documentation. Support a positive dining experience for all residents by promoting teamwork, accountability, and high standards of resident care within a supportive, mission-driven culture at this skilled nursing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Dietary Manager or in a healthcare dietary leadership role
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or healthcare dietary operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Skilled in staff supervision, communication, and organization
- Dependable, professional, and committed to excellent resident service
