Job Summary
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards. Oversee dietary staff performance, implement cost control measures, and coordinate diet therapy to meet individual resident needs. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall quality of care. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations while managing a team with recent skilled nursing management experience. Requires ServSafe Manager Certificate and CDM certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ServSafe Manager Certificate
- Serv Safe Manager Certificate
- Minimum of two+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is preferred
- Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred
- Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
