Job Summary
Provide and oversee dietary services for residents, including distribution of meals per diet orders, quality and temperature control, supervising dietary aides, orienting new staff, training on department equipment, and maintaining dietary records, inventory, and production sheets. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of food and supplies; print and distribute resident dietary cards; perform menu counts for normal and special diets; track inventory par levels and conduct daily logs and audits. Expect strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to department procedures within a senior living dining operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- Two to three years applicable experience
