Job Summary
Prepare and serve meals according to the menu while monitoring food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to maintain and enhance their overall health. Ensure quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Prioritize a professional image and excellent communication skills while working part-time evening hours from 11:30am to 7:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
