Job Summary
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and approved menus while maintaining a restaurant-style dining atmosphere. Open and close the kitchen, ensuring all food is received, stored, and prepared to Company standards. Maintain kitchen and food storage areas in clean, safe, and sanitary conditions by adhering to assigned cleaning schedules. Document food temperatures prior to service, refrigeration, and freezer storage. Assist with transporting and storing food and supplies, and participate in special events, banquets, and theme meals. Attend pre-meal stand-ups before service. Requires weekends; full-time staff receive medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
- Able to read and follow recipes and printed production guides, cleaning schedules, and logs
- Weekends required
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment preferred
