Job Summary
Dietary Cook for a Residential Care Facility: prepares meals and snacks per menu using standardized recipes, serves residents promptly and politely, and follows safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintains proper storage of food, cleans equipment, kitchen and dining areas using infection-control procedures, and uses equipment and dietary goods appropriately. Participates in staff development, attends in-service training, and promotes a cooperative, team-oriented environment with coworkers, residents, and visitors. Weekend daytime and weekday evening shifts are available, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO benefits.
