Job Summary

Prepare and serve attractive meals meeting customer expectations while maintaining a clean, safe Dining Services environment within facility and regulatory guidelines. Prepare quality food products according to standardized recipes and menus, ensuring proper portioning and serving. Maintain and record assigned temperatures daily, follow temperature regulations for preparing, serving, and storing foods, and clean food service equipment after use. Direct and supervise Dining Aides when needed, have food ready at specified times, and begin meal service on time. Occasionally visit residents to gather feedback, replenish supplies, sweep and mop floors, and open the kitchen if required. Attend in-service educational classes and department meetings. Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with safety and infection control measures.

Desired Qualifications

  • ServSafe certified
