Job Summary
Dietary Cook responsible for preparing meals in accordance with health regulations, reviewing menus and production guides to ensure appealing meals, assisting in ordering and inventory under the food service director, following department directives, maintaining palatable and visually appealing resident meals, using standard recipes, recording food temperatures and HACCP logs, participating in in-service programs, promoting kitchen sanitation and teamwork, and adhering to safety guidelines; requires High School diploma or equivalent and Serve Safe certificate, with strong communication and teamwork skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications

- Serve Safe Certificate required
- Previous long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work extended hours standing, walking, and regularly lifting items up to 50 pounds
