Job Summary
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and approved menus while ensuring all food is received, stored, and prepared per company standards. Maintain kitchen and food storage areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition, adhering to cleaning schedules and documenting temperatures prior to service. Open and close the kitchen, assist with transporting and storing supplies, and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere with high-level customer service. Participate in preparing special events, banquets, and theme meals, attending pre-meal stand-ups before service. Requires weekends; offers medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
- Able to read and follow recipes and printed production guides, cleaning schedules, and logs
- Weekends required
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment preferred
