Job Summary
Prepare and cook meals in the community following established recipes and menus, ensuring high-quality, restaurant-style dining while maintaining clean, sanitary kitchen and food storage areas. Responsibilities include opening/closing the kitchen, adhering to cleaning schedules, handling food temperatures and safety standards, assisting with special events or banquets, and supporting transportation/storage of food and supplies. Weekend availability is required. The role supports an assisted living/memory care environment and emphasizes customer service and adherence to company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of one year experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare preferred
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
