Job Summary
Prepare and cook high-quality foods for regular and modified diets for residents, guests, and employees while adhering to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and facility standards. Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings, test and suggest recipe changes, and cook in batches with attention to quality and appeal. Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals; experience in healthcare food service and nursing home settings is preferred.
