Job Summary
Prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees while strictly adhering to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations. Adjust recipes to yield required servings and test recipes to recommend changes. Direct activities of workers assisting with meal preparation and service. Utilize various cooking equipment to maintain high quality and appeal in batch cooking. Walk-ins are welcome daily. Competitive compensation, daily pay, 401k with match, and family health insurance are provided. High school diploma or GED required; previous nursing home or culinary experience in a health care facility preferred.
