Dietary Cook

Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals for residents in a healthcare/senior living setting, following dietician-approved menus and health/safety regulations. Responsibilities include cooking meals for residents, following menus and dietary needs, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, labeling and storage of food, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, setting up/clearing dining areas, operating kitchen appliances safely, adhering to policies, and maintaining resident confidentiality per HIPAA. The role may be part of a leadership track (Lead Cook or Dietary Manager) and is positioned within Americare Senior Living communities emphasizing supportive teamwork, flexible scheduling, and benefits.
