Job Summary
Supervise food production and prepare, distribute, and serve quality food accurately according to ordered diets, approved manuals, and menus including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special dietary orders. Adhere strictly to selected recipes without substitutions unless directed by the Registered Dietitian, while communicating with nursing staff regarding diet updates and changes. Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards, ensure proper food temperatures, and comply with state and local regulatory agencies. Assist with set-up, service, clean-up, and unloading freight, and oversee Dietary Dishwashers and Aides as needed in the absence of the Dietary Lead or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of eighteen
- One year of institutional dietary service experience preferred
