Job Summary
Prepare meals and snacks for clients according to ASTER SPRINGS menus and dietary formulary. Rotate stored food by date, disinfect back stock areas, and record refrigerator/freezer temperatures daily. Clean kitchen and dining rooms after meals, coordinate with the Dietitian on supply needs and menu changes, and communicate cooking and storage guidelines during inspections. Purchase groceries as needed and ensure all delivered items follow the program schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within the first 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's preferred
- Meal preparation in like setting preferred
- Continued education courses in dietetics and/or psychology or social work preferred
