Job Summary
Dietary Assistant provides quality food service to residents in a healthcare setting, assists in defined food preparation, serving of meals and cleaning duties, and follows procedures related to all duties; reads and understands procedures, recipe directions, and diet order cards; demonstrates numerical ability for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals; coordinates and dexterity for preparing food and operating dietary equipment safely; role supports a schedule of 24-26 hours per week in a part-time capacity, at Horizons Care Center in Delta County; the position requires on-site work and adherence to state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous institutional dietary service experience is preferred.
