Dietary Assistant

Supervise and direct the dietary department by planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining its programs and activities. Assist in the preparation, service, and delivery of meals and snacks while performing daily cleaning duties for work areas, tables, appliances, and floors. Manage dish and utensil washing by gathering soiled items from carts and trays, then storing clean items properly. Distribute and collect menus, checking trays for completion and accuracy of diet preferences before distribution. Ensure food and supplies are readily available by inventorying and storing incoming items. Requires ability to read, write, and follow directions; must display good emotional health and be capable of extended standing, bending, and heavy lifting. Located in Avon, Indiana, at Brooke Knoll Village skilled nursing facility.
