Job Summary
Dietary Assistant role in a skilled nursing facility focusing on assisting in meal preparation, service and delivery; supporting daily cleaning tasks; handling menus and tray accuracy for residents; assisting with inventory and storage of food, supplies, and equipment; requires ability to read/write, communicate with residents and staff, and endure standing/bending/heavy lifting. Required Qualifications
- Completion of elementary education or ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies
- Ability to remain calm under stress
- Physical capability for extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting
