Job Summary
Assist Registered Dietitian in providing safe, therapeutic nutrition services; receive vendor-prepped food, prepare for participant meal service, and verify temperatures of equipment; maintain clean and sanitary kitchen area; prepare and plate meals according to dietary cards; label and date perishable items; record inventory and place orders for replacements as needed; contribute to safe storage and handling of food while complying with WelbeHealth policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- CA Servsafe and Food Handlers Certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in food service or preparation
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred
