Job Summary
Serve resident and guest meals courteously, assist with order placement, and manage beverage service including refilling condiments. Perform clean-up and resetting of dining rooms post-meal, sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas. Provide tray service while attending to special needs such as mobility deficits and memory impairment. Report broken equipment or tableware to the supervisor and maintain proper food storage and labeling techniques. Complete all other duties assigned, including in-services and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be able to read and follow simple instructions
- Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks
- Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision
- Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects
- Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet
- Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
