Job Summary
Serve resident and guest meals courteously, assist with placing orders, and provide beverage service including water, juices, and coffee. Refill condiment bowls, sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas, and refill salt, pepper, and sugar bowls. Report broken equipment or tableware to the supervisor and understand sit-down service techniques. Assist residents with mobility deficits and memory impairment needs while following confidentiality policies. Maintain clean designated uniforms, read simple instructions, and work under close supervision with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be able to read and follow simple instructions
- Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks
- Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision
- Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects
- Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet
- Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
