Job Summary
Assist in the preparation and service of meals for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager. Serve food and snacks according to the planned menu, adhering to patient and resident food preferences and diet orders. Ensure food is properly handled, pre-portioned, and completed on time while supporting the cook. May wash dishes when necessary or instructed by the Dietary Manager. This full-time role includes two morning shifts (7am to 3pm) and two evening shifts (2pm to 7pm) at Woodlands Place.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D
- Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Food handler's permit
- Experience in food prep and service within a skilled nursing or long term care facility
