Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide provides nourishing meals to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting the cook and Dietary Manager with implementing changes, serving meals palatably and in a timely manner, maintaining proper portion control, ensuring sanitation and safety of food service areas, stocking and using supplies, following oral and written instructions, and collaborating with inter-department staff to meet residents' needs. Tasks also cover reviewing menus, helping establish production lines to ensure meals are prepared on time, inspecting and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas, and performing other duties as assigned. Must be able to communicate in English and work effectively with residents, their families, visitors, and staff; physical ability to move, lift, and manage equipment as required. This is a full-time (and part-time) role based in Williamsburg, KY, with a work environment in a healthcare facility.
