Job Summary
Communicate daily menus to patients, take orders via phone, and provide dietary restriction details for tray preparation. Prepare patient beverages, set up trays according to diet specifications, and deliver them timely while maintaining proper food temperatures and rotating products. Serve customers and staff in cafeterias, assist with cashier duties and cooking, and maintain high sanitation standards per federal and local health manuals. Stock the work area, fill floor stock orders, and attend staff meetings. Ensure HIPAA compliance and work as a team to meet patient and staff needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
Desired Qualifications
- One year of food service in a hospital setting preferred
